Budva is preparing one of the longest New Year's programs in the region this year, and the director of the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Budva, Ana Vujošević, confirmed in "Colors of the Morning" on Television Vijesti that this year's investment is truly significant.
"Budva, as you know, was the first in Montenegro to organize an open-air wedding back in 1999, so this is already the 26th wedding we have organized. Budva has always allocated large financial resources for this type of entertainment, since we have 24 different musical groups and it lasts seven days, taking into account market prices and fees that have really skyrocketed in recent years compared to all other services. I think that the realistic price of half a million is, at first glance it may sound like a lot of money to all citizens, but we believe that it will pay off and that this money will return to our city many times over," Vujošević emphasized.
Caterers and hoteliers have already determined New Year's packages and price lists, and according to Vujošević, interest is great.
"According to the first reactions and the information we received from the economy and tourist agencies in the region, we hope to surpass all previous years. In previous years, it was ten to 25 thousand," she said.
In addition to a rich musical program, a special visual spectacle is also being prepared this year.
"This year, in addition to the duration of the program, what is new is that for the first time in Montenegro we will perform a drone show... the sky above our beautiful city will shine with the most beautiful messages and symbols for the New Year," said Vujošević.
"Vijesti" announced on October 19th that Budva is preparing a seven-day musical spectacle for the New Year holidays under the walls of the Old Town, "weighing" around half a million euros.
