Residents and caterers from the center of Mojkovac have expressed dissatisfaction with the way in which the reconstruction work on the city square is being carried out, stating that the project is creating serious problems in everyday functioning.
Therefore, they have announced the possibility of blocking further work unless urgent measures are taken to resolve, as they say, the accumulated problems that they have been warning about for a long time.
According to citizens, the works are being carried out unplanned, and trenches, protective barriers, and closed access roads make movement in the central area of the city difficult.
Some business buildings, they claim, are almost cut off from the usual access.
Citizens who submitted footage to TV Vijesti showing what the square in Mojkovac looks like say that they have tried to talk to the authorities several times, but that so far they have not encountered any willingness from local institutions to listen to their comments and suggestions.
The reconstruction of the town square, worth more than two million euros, represents one of the most significant infrastructure projects in Mojkovac.
The completion of the works is planned for December, but judging by the current situation, that deadline will probably not be met.
