After setting up a tent yesterday, some residents of Botunja continue to stand guard in front of the plot intended for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant.
Those gathered called on the Mayor of Podgorica, Saša Mujović, and the Minister of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property, Slaven Radunović, to accept their proposal to build the facility at another location, near the Luča bridge.
The locals have announced that they will remain at that location until December 14th, when a referendum on the construction of the plant is scheduled in Zeta.
If citizens refuse to support the construction and the state does not acknowledge it or the authorities do not accept their proposal, the gathered people announce that they will physically prevent the construction of the plant.
