Lines of shoppers in Podgorica in front of, but also inside, large stores and shopping malls. The reason is the world-famous Black Friday, a day when retailers offer significant discounts. Those who shopped today are mostly satisfied.
"I had a good time. It seems to me that this year the offer is the best and the discounts are the biggest in each of these boutiques. I mostly bought things that were a little bit larger and I'm really happy with this year's, so to speak, catch."
"Black Friday or not, I have to shop... But I'm satisfied."
"I bought it, I waited in line for a long time, it was crowded, stuffy, everything was scattered. But here we are, we are all infected and we all have to buy, that's our curse."
These are some of the impressions that customers shared with the TV Vijesti team.
We also met those who were not in a hurry to buy and who recognize discounts with some caution.
"I haven't yet, but I intend to. In fact, first I'll see what the atmosphere is like, how people are in a good mood, because if there are a lot of smiles on their faces, then it's definitely worth spending a few dinars. And I can see from the exits that the merchants have made an effort, which is already very positive."
"I came with a friend, we haven't bought anything yet, the prices aren't bad, 20-30 percent off, we expected it to be even higher."
Black Friday is celebrated on the first Friday after the American holiday Thanksgiving. The name was coined when retailers began to turn from red to black, or from loss to profit, thanks to the large volume of sales, and the American brand has become popular on the European continent, including in Montenegro, in recent years.
