In the last show of the first round of the music competition "Never Too Late", the audience will have the opportunity to meet Katarina Boljević from Kotor, a contestant from Montenegro who immediately attracts attention with her energy and authenticity.
Katarina was born in Kotor, and completed her primary and secondary education in Risan, Kotor and Herceg Novi. She is the mother of three adult sons and the grandmother of a two-year-old granddaughter, whom she often highlights as her greatest support and joy. She is a lover of literature and poetry – in 2024 she published her first collection of verses "Svitanje u Arzamasu", while a new book "Zelen tuga i siva radost" is in preparation. She writes haiku, children's poetry and lyrics for music.
She entered the music world only at the end of 2024, when she first stepped into the studio. Since then, she has released two original songs – "Dvije zvijezde" and "Dom" – for which she wrote the lyrics and music. The arrangements are by composer Marin Čubranić from Krk.
Katarina says she applied to "Never Too Late" because she believes that "it's only late when we're gone," and it's precisely this philosophy that brings new energy and freshness to the competition scene.
Viewers will be able to enjoy a new episode on Monday at 20 pm on Television Vijesti, in which, in addition to Saša Milošević Maret, the jury will also include Danica Maksimović and Zijo Valentino. As always, humorous comments and colorful performances by the contestants are expected.
"You couldn't have chosen a harder song, honestly," Mare told one of the candidates, while Zijo joked: "As soon as Maret's pen dances in his hand, I know it's good."
