Although the Government has claimed that they have not signed any secret contract with the companies Adriatic Properties and Aman that would allow the construction of a condo hotel in Milocer Park, the Civic Movement URA claims that the Government is trying to negotiate a deal behind the backs of citizens.
The party's vice president, Blažo Radjenović, announced on Boje jutra on Vijesti TV that, if such a contract is signed, it will be a serious job for the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT).
The Government previously said that they are talking to representatives of these companies, trying to find the best solution to stop the arbitration proceedings that the state of Montenegro is conducting before a court in London against the tenants of Sveti Stefan and Miločer, which could cost the citizens of Montenegro 100 million euros.
"If they deny this, then let them publicly say why they organized a session on Monday, an electronic session in the evening where they asked all members of the Board of Directors of the Public Company for Coastal Zone Management to express their views by 9:30 pm. Why don't they say whether there were any dissenting opinions from members of the Board of Directors of that company. Let Prime Minister Spajić, if he doesn't know these details, ask Mr. Čarapić, whom and in what way he has been convincing for days to back down from his first decision to resign from a key position, in a key government company," said Radjenović.
