Our water polo team is preparing for the European Championship, which begins on January 10. Ten years after the historic European final, the Montenegrin "sharks" are once again arriving on the stage that marked one of the greatest moments of our water polo. New lineup, new energy, but the same desire to make history.
"I would like the same final, but now in favor of Montenegro," says coach Dejan Savić.

"I saw that Montero was going to try to clear the ball and I picked it up, because it's harder to clear with your head than with your foot. And then it goes in, and then you get lost. You don't know where you are, the stadium gates open and you run to Montenegro," Mijatović recalls of the goal that changed history.
