The leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Danijel Živković and party official Miloš Nikolić were questioned yesterday at the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) as witnesses in the proceedings against arrested businessman Aleksandar Mijajlović and members of his alleged criminal group, it was unofficially confirmed to Television Vijesti.
Živković and Nikolić were questioned about the messages they exchanged with Mijajlović and the editors of certain media outlets, which are part of the Order on Conducting an Investigation.
The messages show that Živković received a phone call from Mijajlović in 2022, which he denied, claiming that it was a construction of the SDT and an open political showdown with all dissenters of the current government.
The SDT charges Mijajlović, former National Security Agency (ANB) agent Drago Spičanović, prosecutor Andrijana Nastic, former police official Milovan Pavićević, and police officer Vladan Lazović with working to undermine the security sector.
