Although a week has passed since the accident on the Savin Kuk ski lift in which a German tourist was killed, the Mayor of Žabljak, Radoš Žugić, is still waiting for representatives of the Government, relevant ministries and the Development Bank to respond to his invitation to a meeting, in order to assess the situation at the ski resort and create a strategy for its future.
In an interview with TV Vijesti, Žugić said that the accident brought great uncertainty to the success of the winter tourist season.
He said that the government in Žabljak is stable, and that the municipality today has 20 million worth of projects that are being implemented and that have been announced.
