When he has prepared the wood, maple or linden for work and the only tool – a motorized saw, 36-year-old Kolašin resident, Saša Dulović, is ready to create art.

With a patient and steady hand, this trunk gradually takes on a different shape.

"I do everything with a power saw, it's two saws. I process everything with them and the sawing process is complete, so... How difficult is it? Well, it's not for me, it's just easier for me than it is now if I were to do it with a chisel or something like that. I do it quickly, quickly with a power saw, and with a chisel it would take me months to make a sculpture. And how long does it take me like this? Well, it depends on the sculpture," says Dulović.

"Some sculptures, for example, which are like some animals, don't go by their appearance. And some sculptures that I make are straight out of my head. Well, that image just happens in my head and I transfer it to wood. Well, a lot of times I'm satisfied with how it turns out. Let it happen, but I leave it, I finish it later, and in the end I'm satisfied. Because I don't show any sculpture that I'm not satisfied with," he points out.

For five years now, the sound of laughter has been relaxing him, he says, and in this environment he finds his meaning.

"When I started - that's when I stopped working on my own and started doing sculptures - everyone thought I had no work to do. I don't know how people see it, someone said it was good and that I was on the right track, so... What did it turn out in the end? Well, I'm overjoyed, I'm really overjoyed, I'm doing what I love," emphasizes Kolašinac.

An occasional escape into nature helps him regain inspiration.

"When I'm filled with negative energy, I go to the village in Gornja Morača and collect all the positive energy there, there's nature, mountains, I spent a lot of time there when I was younger, so that's the most beautiful part of it for me. With that energy withdrawn, I can do whatever I want," says Dulović.

And he says he would like to do this for as long as possible.

"I see myself continuing to work with sculptures, so I don't know what to say, I'm planning some exhibitions, I have a lot of plans, but they say it's not good to plan too much, but that's how I plan to do this for the rest of my life, as long as it's possible," he announces.

OFF: And you can find his sculptures everywhere - they adorn the Kolašin city center, souvenir shops and local restaurants...
