After the Constitutional Court abolished the Sunday holiday, the ruling Europe Now Movement announced an initiative for its return through amendments to the Internal Trade Law, which the Parliament would discuss on February 16th.
Admittedly, they could have changed it by now, because the Constitutional Court gave them a deadline to do so last year, but they didn't, because, as they say, they still wanted to wait for the court's position.
After the court decision to abolish it and the announcement of a political initiative to restore it, Sunday off has once again become an issue that is being fought over by legal and political forces.
