The first Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Montenegro and President of the National Assembly of Montenegro, fifty years after his death, still does not have a monument in his hometown, although he is credited with Podgorica gaining the status of the Capital City.
The Podgorica Assembly made the decision to erect a monument and renovate Blaž Jovanović's birthplace in 2021, but to date nothing has come of it.
The Vijesti Television crew was convinced that the house was in much worse condition than it was six years ago, when it also reported on this topic.
