The new Law on Foreigners, which regulates the conditions for the entry, exit, residence, movement and work of foreigners in Montenegro, has caused concern among foreign investors and the business community.
In order to regulate the system and reduce abuses, the state is introducing a strict rule of 30 days of leave per year, a minimum annual amount of paid taxes of five thousand euros for the extension of the entrepreneur's residence, and possession of real estate with a minimum value of 150 thousand euros as a condition for obtaining residence.
