The Administrative Court confirmed that the appointments of certain managers in the Municipality of Mojkovac were illegal.
The court found that the appointed municipal manager, the head of the Municipal Police, and the commander of the Protection and Rescue Service were not elected in accordance with the regulations and did not meet the requirements prescribed by law.
Due to abuse of official position in connection with illegal employment, the Higher Court in Podgorica in January sentenced the mayor of the municipality, Veselin Delić, to a suspended prison sentence.
