The Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG) ended last year with a loss of more than 90 million euros.
Its managers justify this by the eight-month downtime of the Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant, reduced production from hydroelectric power plants due to unfavorable hydrological conditions, and high electricity purchase prices.
The opposition DPS, on the other hand, claims that the energy sector has been destroyed by party-family employment, which they read as malicious comments from the government, which they believe are not based on reality.
