Prosecutors are still investigating the case of the devastation of the coast in Baošići, which culminated in the arrest of Čedomir Popović, the owner of the company "Carine", who is being charged by the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Herceg Novi with illegally filling 14 square meters of the sea.
His legal detention has expired, and part of the public is calling on the Special Prosecutor's Office to take over the case, as well as to expand the list of suspects to include senior officials of the Democrats and the president of the Municipality of Herceg Novi.
The question remains whether the state will seek to restore the coast in Baošići to its original condition at the expense of the investor, or whether this will become just another example of its inefficiency in preventing the concreting of the coast and the sea.
