The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) has opened a case against the acting director of the Institute of Public Health, Ivan Samardžić, following serious allegations coming from the health institution itself.
The complaint filed by some employees, which Televizija Vijesti had access to, alleges abuse of position, illegal conduct, and mobbing.
While authorities are investigating the case, the Institute does not want to comment on the allegations until the proceedings are completed.
What the labor inspectors who were at the Institute determined remains unknown, but it is known that the Government extended Samardžić's mandate for another six months.
