In Montenegro, young people experiment with drugs at a very early age. ESPAD research data show that every tenth teenager tries some kind of psychoactive substance before the age of 16. According to publicly released information, drugs are easily available. However, the real picture of the problem is still not entirely clear. The Drug Addiction Registry for 2023 recorded only 750 users, and it is emphasized that the data on them is not complete. How do you get out of the vicious circle of addiction? How many of them are currently undergoing treatment at the Public Institution "Kakaricka gora"? What prevention measures are we currently implementing and how? In addition to drug addiction, how big a problem are alcoholism and gambling?
