The famous "Committee" building in Nikšić, which was returned to the ownership of the state and municipality after three decades, legally belongs to the communists, according to the Yugoslav Communist Party of Montenegro.
They claim that they have all the valid evidence that they built it with their membership fees and self-contributions, so they are calling on the municipality to unlock their doors and raise their flag on the flagpole.
They are also counting on a coalition partnership with the party of the mayor, Marko Kovačević, which has been in place since the 2021 local elections.
