While the multi-million-dollar reconstruction of the technical faculty building in Podgorica is underway, some professors are warning about possible risks to the health of students and employees.
Professor of the Faculty of Science Vladimir Jaćimović fears that potentially harmful substances are being released during the works and demands to know - is it safe to stay in the building?
The Ministry of Public Works says there is no reason for concern, and that no asbestos or other hazardous materials have been registered. Although the works generally do not affect the regularity of classes, some faculties have nevertheless switched to online mode.
