Is DPS losing power in Petnjica? The opposition is demanding the removal of the mayor, but the government says that the initiative will not pass.

In Petnjica, a political crisis with no resolution. Although it lost its majority in the local parliament after councilor Anela Muratović left, the Democratic Party of Socialists still controls the executive branch.

Her initiative to remove the Mayor of the Municipality, Samir Agović, did not receive the necessary support in parliament last week, as two opposition councilors did not attend the session, while one SNP councilor abstained.

The opposition has submitted a new initiative to remove the Speaker of the Assembly, but the DPS says that it will pass like the previous one regarding the removal of the Mayor.
