There are fewer plastic bags in landfills, but citizens still use them en masse

The ban on the use of some plastic bags brought initial results, but also raised the question of how much citizens have really changed their habits.

The Ministry of Ecology told TV Vijesti that, a year and a half after this regulation came into force, both environmental and financial results are being added up, but that citizens' habits are changing very slowly.

This, as the NGO Green Home reminds us, is evidenced by data from the Environmental Protection Agency, which shows that around 65 million bags were sold in a year.
