Potholes, damaged asphalt, and daily detours. While new roads are being paved in other parts of the city, residents of Bjelasička Street in the Zagorič neighborhood of Podgorica have been waiting for months for old potholes to be patched.
"The picture says it all. Look, these holes have been here for about four, five months," says local resident Dragan Alurić.
And the picture really says a lot. Potholes, cracked asphalt and water marks that remain after every rain. Dragan Alurić has been walking down Bjelasička Street every day for 25 years. He says he can't remember when the street looked worse.
