The popular Montenegrin band No Name is back together. Band members Danijel Alibabić, Bane Nedović, Marko Perić, Marko Prentić and Bojan Jovović confirmed on Boje jutra on TV Vijesti that after almost two decades, they are relaunching their joint musical story.
The occasion for the gathering was a performance on the occasion of Montenegro's Independence Day on May 22nd in Podgorica, when they performed their greatest hits again in front of thousands of people.
"Yes," the band members answered briefly and unanimously when asked if the reunion meant the official return of the band No Name.
As they said, it was the audience's reaction after the performance that convinced them that their music still lives on among the generations that grew up with their songs.
"We realized that there is still great magic when it comes to the group No Name. After the concert, we stayed to take photos with people and then we realized that it would be a shame if No Name no longer existed," said Daniel Alibabić.
The group members announced that, in addition to occasional joint performances, they will also be working on new songs.
"Now, when we are more mature and experienced, we can create the story that No Name has always deserved. We have enough knowledge and quality to record the songs we once wanted to record and to finally make an album," said Marko Perić.
Branislav Nedović emphasized that the members will continue their solo careers, but that they will also develop a joint project in parallel.
"We have remained friends even after all these years. That is the most important thing. We are planning new songs, new concerts and a serious concept that will accompany future performances by the group No Name," said Nedović.
The group No Name marked the regional music scene with hits like "Zauvijek moja", "Moja ljubavi", "Kad te vidim" and other songs that are still sung throughout the region today.
