Behind excellent grades, recognitions and titles of the best students are not only talent and intelligence, but also years of work, sacrifice, family support and love of knowledge, said the best Montenegrin high school graduates and semi-high school graduates, appearing on the show Boje jutra on Television Vijesti.
Olga Rajković, a student of the generation from the "Stojan Cerović" Gymnasium from Nikšić, Filip Bojović, a Luca A winner and future gymnasium student, and Anđela Raičević, a student of the generation from the "Mirko Vešović" Secondary School of Economics, shared their experiences.
Speaking about her school journey, Anđela Raičević emphasized that success does not come overnight and that behind every result are years of effort and self-improvement.
"Talent is a spark that we receive at birth, but work is what turns that spark into a great flame. However, I believe that besides talent and work, the most important thing is love for what we do," Raičević said on the show Boje jutra.
She emphasized that during her schooling she often felt pressure due to high expectations, but that it was in such moments that she learned to trust herself and move on.
Future high school student Filip Bojović said that education is not just about acquiring knowledge, but also about developing empathy, friendships, and a sense of responsibility towards the community.
"I think it's very important to help others and contribute to society. Grades are important, but it's equally important to learn how to be a good person and how to build relationships with people," said Bojović.
Speaking about success, he emphasized that continuous work and discipline are crucial for excellent results.
"For Luca, talent alone is not enough. It takes enormous effort, constant work, and a willingness to invest in yourself every day," he said.
Olga Rajković, who plans to enroll in the Faculty of Medicine, said that high school was the place where she discovered her love for biology and chemistry.
"I've always loved natural sciences, and through my education I realized that I wanted to help people. That's why I decided to continue my path through medicine," said Rajković.
She believes it is important to try new things and not be afraid of uncertainty.
"It's completely normal to feel fear and insecurity. It's important to step out of your comfort zone because that's when we learn and progress the most," she said.
The interviewees agree that parents and teachers played a key role in their education, providing support and encouragement when it was most needed.
When asked where they see themselves in ten years, they all emphasized their desire to do a job they love, to help people, and to remain true to the values they built during their education.
Their common message to their peers is to believe in themselves, develop their talents, and not give up in the face of obstacles.
"Success doesn't come overnight. It takes patience, work, and perseverance, but the most important thing is not to lose ourselves along the way," concluded the young interviewees in the show Boje jutra on TV Vijesti.
