Podgorica: Will consider changes to the spatial plan concerning Gorica

In recent years, there has been talk in Podgorica not only about the construction of new buildings, but also about entire new neighborhoods.

Gorica Hill has not been spared from urbanization, which is why civic activists say they fear that the place will suffer the fate of Ljubović Hill.

The Ministry of Spatial Planning initiated changes to the DUP that covers Gorica, but the Government suspended the process in March, because the new Spatial Planning Act came into force, which stipulates that local governments take over the preparation of local planning documentation.

The Podgorica administration says that after conducting analyses, they will consider changes to the plan regarding Gorica.
