The government has not yet determined a model for how the families of Lora's victims would be compensated.

Although Deputy Prime Minister Budimir Aleksić raised the issue of compensation for the families of the victims of the Lora camp in Split back in April, the Government has not yet determined a model by which they would be compensated.

Aleksić recently, during the Prime Minister's Hour, reiterated that the Prime Minister had given his consent in principle and that the issue could be resolved in the same way as in the case of the families of civilian victims of the NATO bombing in Murin in 1999.

The Human Rights Action believes that the families of those killed and tortured in Lora should receive compensation, but that the model cannot be the same for civilian victims and prisoners of war.
