MMR vaccination records slight growth, coverage still significantly below the recommended 95 percent

MMR vaccination of children in Montenegro has recorded a slight increase, but coverage is still significantly below the recommended 95 percent. Of particular concern, the Institute of Public Health points out, is the fact that a large number of children have not received the second dose of the vaccine. The new Law on Health Care stipulates regular vaccination as a condition for children to attend preschool institutions, which is why three initiatives have been launched before the Constitutional Court to assess the constitutionality of this solution.
