Officers of the Police Administration emptied the "Gurman" fast food facility in Podgorica, where the owner Ranko Radulović and his friends barricaded themselves with several children last night, in order to prevent the authorities from carrying out the eviction.
After several hours of drama, the police detained two people, who, according to the authorities, resisted and did not follow orders.
All four children left the building, and firefighters were also present at the scene.
"This is a kidnapping, and the trial is not over yet. There are more judgments affecting this, and they rushed to seize the facility. The Center for Social Work carried out the action, and on October 16 we requested the exemption of the Center for Social Work and their supervisor, on October 13 we requested the exemption of the executor. The executor left on the 16th even though an exemption was requested, then on the 16th he scheduled a new eviction for November 1st. Between 15-30 days should have passed, and we should have received an answer to the requested exemption before they could do anything," said Ranko Radulović to the journalists present.
He said that the case has been going on for over 20 years, but that they have been waiting for the Supreme Court's decision for one year and seven months.
Last night, Radulović locked himself in that bar with family members, friends and their children in order to prevent the authorities from carrying out the eviction.
The owner of "Gurman" Ranko Radulović, who bought the place 23 years ago and where he keeps fast food, told "Vijesta" this morning that he spent the night in the facility with six adults and four children.
He said that representatives of the Center for Social Work, even the director Arnesa Đečević, are in front of the bar.
"Last time when the eviction date was on October 16 of this year, they were here from the Center for Social Work, but they withdrew because we officially requested a request for exemption, after which they withdrew and stopped their work. They, according to our they have not yet decided on the request, and this morning they appeared again, which is not legally possible," said Radulović.
The legal dispute over the sales contract has been going on for decades, and final court decisions have established that Radulović is no longer the owner of the bar.
According to "Vijesti", the police were called last night around 22 p.m. that the owner had locked himself in the bar because a judicial eviction was to be carried out this morning, which is why the police were immediately sent to that part of Podgorica to try to make preparations for this morning's assistance.
The police could not react because, in addition to the owner, the children also spent the night in the fast food restaurant, which is why they were powerless to react in any way for hours.
In order to continue the eviction, the competent service and the police, who assist in this enforcement procedure, waited for the Center for Social Work to react, since both the children and the prosecutor's office spent the night in the bar.
