Suspended police officer Predrag Milić (45) was arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of criminal association in conjunction with the criminal offense of concealment.
"Vijesti" has learned that Milić's police previously found 1,5 million euros in a vehicle in Germany, which it is believed that he was keeping and hiding for the fugitive police officer Ljubo Milović.
Milić is the godfather of the escaped policeman Nebojša Bugarin.
Officers of the Regional Security Center "Centar", Podgorica Security Department yesterday prosecuted six people on suspicion of having committed the criminal acts of criminal association, aggravated theft and concealment.
As stated in the announcement, this is a continuation of the activities from October 24, when the police conducted searches at several locations in the country, and the activities were predominantly aimed at detecting and preventing the commission of serious crimes and finding weapons, and when several weapons were confiscated. ammunition, explosives and narcotic drugs.
"It is suspected that the criminal activities of these persons are connected with planning the execution of the most serious crimes, the execution of which was thwarted by the discovery of a vehicle and a flammable liquid that can be used to destroy traces after the commission of serious crimes," the statement reads.
Police officers found two stolen vehicles in the yard of the family house owned by Svetlana Roćenović (54), whose license plates had previously been removed.
According to "Vijesti" information, she is related to Milić.
"Acting on the order of the investigating judge of the Basic Court in Podgorica, police officers searched one of the vehicles when a pair of license plates that did not belong to the vehicle in question were found in it, which were found to have been stolen from another vehicle," says UP.
Also, two larger canisters with a liquid substance, which is assumed to be a flammable liquid - gasoline, were found in it. In addition to the above-mentioned items, the police officers also excluded other traces that are the subject of further expert examinations.
The announcement states that Božidar Đukić (27) and Aleksandar Vukićević (35), who are wanted by the police, are also suspected of the mentioned criminal acts.
In addition, a criminal complaint was filed against Đorđi Đukić (25), who is suspected of criminal association in connection with the crime of aggravated theft and is wanted by the police. Miloš Bogojević (39) is charged with the same criminal acts and is in the UIKS. He was deprived of his liberty on October 24.
Roćenović, who was arrested by the police, is also suspected of the criminal offense of concealment.
The officers of the Police Administration, as stated in the announcement, will continue with undiminished intensity the implementation of activities on the prevention and detection of criminal offenses with a special emphasis on high-risk criminal groups.
