The operational person of interest, A.Lj. (22) from Pljevlja, was arrested after the Basic Court in that city issued an order for him to be brought to the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS) to serve his prison sentence.
He was located in a targeted search conducted by the police, and was sentenced to one year in prison for the crime of robbery. A.Lj. is a multiple repeat offender in committing crimes and misdemeanors, the Police Directorate announced.
"It is suspected that in early September 2024, in Pljevlja, he stole a certain amount of clothing from the injured party while threatening them with a knife. After being arrested, the person was taken to serve his prison sentence," the police statement said.
