Students of the Resource Center "1. June" organized an exhibition of pottery works in Delta City over the weekend, which they dedicated to the embassy of the United Arab Emirates, in order to thank them for the donation and help.

The pottery works were made on the theme "Flame" and were exhibited in the Delta City hall, and the attention of passers-by was attracted by the numerous clay works of 20 students "1. of June".

The students' works were displayed in display cases with colorful and unusual terracotta candles.

Student Zdravko Čepić says that it was interesting for him to work at this exhibition, because they made works from clay that they baked and later colored using various techniques.

His friend Violeta Vuković was also one of the exhibitors, she points out that she enjoyed making various forms of candles.

"It was interesting to me while we were making clay works, we worked for a little over two months. We painted everything with temperas or varnish," said Violeta.

The exhibition was made with the support of professor Mirko Dragović and artist Nada Kažić, and about 20 students from the Center created cute pottery figures.

"Through these activities, children show creativity, emotions, spend quality time and have a nice time together. They love all the workshops, and they dedicated more than two months to this exhibition and tried their best to make it all look beautiful," said teacher Vesna Vuković.

Vuković clarified that the children from the Center have various activities and different sections, so they always spend their time in an organized manner and try to socialize and integrate into society.

She said that this was exactly the goal of this exhibition, because through these and similar activities, children show that society needs to get rid of prejudices and show that they are capable of being useful members of society.

"This is a nice way to promote our institution. We try to preserve and nurture the potential of each child, we work with them every day and have activities that encourage them to create and progress", said teacher Milijana Radusinović.
