The fire that broke out in Bar this morning was localized, said the head of the Protection and Rescue Service in that city, Aco Vulević.
The fire broke out this morning around eight o'clock in the settlement along the Željeznica river, and the fire had come close to residential buildings.
Vulević told Primorski portal that they localized the fire and that teams are now cleaning the area to eliminate the possible spread of the fire.
According to him, firefighters intervened at the same location before.
"Another appeal to the citizens to comply with the order prohibiting the burning of fires. By lighting fires, they are endangering the human lives and property of their fellow citizens as well as tourists who are visiting our city," Vulević said.
As previously reported by the Bar info portal, the flames engulfed the low vegetation on the Boulevard of the Petrović Dynasty.
