The Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology (ZHMS) announced that during Thursday and Friday (October 3 and 4), the area of Montenegro will be under the influence of cyclonic activity, which will cause unstable weather conditions and heavy rainfall.
"Moderate to completely cloudy, often moderate and heavy rain, showers and thunderstorms. Intense precipitation, copious amounts of rain are expected, especially in the night between Thursday and Friday, as well as on Friday during the first part of the day, when 150-200 l/ m2. From the middle of the day on Friday in the southwest, and in the afternoon in most of the country, precipitation will weaken or stop," the ZHMS announced.
The wind will be from the south, moderate to strong, during the night between Thursday and Friday and during the first part of the day on Friday, with gusts of storm force.
"During the weekend, the cyclonic circulation will fill up or weaken, but there will still be conditions for occasional rain or local showers with thunder. Along the coast, the sea will be wavy to stronger waves, gradually calming down at the end of the day on Friday. As a result of the heavy rain, local possible problems with an abundant amount of water, especially in urban areas, on torrential streams and along roads that cross mountain slopes," the announcement states.
