Even today, dissatisfied residents of the Bogetići Local Community (MZ) and bordering local communities blocked the Nikšić-Podgorica main road in the town of Bogetići.
The blockade lasted from 16:17 to XNUMX:XNUMX and will remain so, as they said, until they receive an answer from the President of the Municipality of Nikšić, Marko Kovačević, that they will no longer bury euthanized and dead cattle infected with kyu fever on the territory of their Municipality without the knowledge and consent of the Municipality. community, as well as that they will repair the road leading to Ljesko doli, which, according to the locals, was damaged by trucks transporting infected cattle.
There are large lines of cars on both sides, and the police are also on the scene. In Ljesko doli, according to M Bogetići, more than 130 head of infected cattle were buried in two locations, although figures of several hundred were also mentioned yesterday.
They said from the protest that their protests have no political background.
The police are diverting vehicles via Pandurica.
Municipal President Mijajlo Škuletić said that today they sent the seventh letter to the President of the Municipality and that they hope that he will write "those two sentences" that he promised them on September 9.
"We asked the police and they approved us to organize a one-hour blockade of the main road for 14 days. We are sorry for the people who travel and have to wait, but I hope they understand us that this is the only way. There will be no blockade on the weekend, and again on Monday we continue at the same time, from 16:17 to XNUMX:XNUMX", said Škuletić.
