The Ministry of National Education and Research said that Jakšić Stojanović, as part of her official visit to the Czech Republic, visited several renowned scientific research and educational institutions with the aim of establishing strategic cooperation through intensifying the exchange of students, teachers, and researchers, encouraging the transfer of knowledge and technology, joint participation in European scientific research projects, and the implementation of other activities of common interest.

It is stated that the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry within the Czech Academy of Sciences, which is considered one of the most eminent research institutions in Europe in the fields of chemistry, molecular biology and pharmaceutical sciences, is central among the institutions visited.

"During the meeting with the management of the Institute, cooperation was agreed, which includes the inclusion of Montenegrin scientists and researchers in international projects and encouraging research stays, as well as cooperation in the field of doctoral studies and the stay of our young researchers at this prestigious institution," the statement says.

As it is added, Jakšić Stojanović also visited the ELI ERIC Center, the leading European research infrastructure in the field of laser technologies and advanced physics, where she discussed with the Center's management the successful cooperation so far through projects implemented by Professor Laštovička-Medin from the University of Montenegro.

It is stated that Jakšić Stojanović thus opened up space for improving cooperation in various forms, implementing new projects and examining different models of establishing a new scientific and research infrastructure in Montenegro.

The Ministry of National Security and Information Protection said that constructive discussions were held with representatives of the National Agency for Cybersecurity and Information Protection of the Czech Republic in the area of ​​cybersecurity and digital transformation, with a special emphasis on improving Montenegro's capacities in this strategically important area.

Jakšić Stojanović also met with representatives of the Operator of ICT (OICT) - a body that brings together key stakeholders of the Czech digital ecosystem, including research centers, innovation clusters and infrastructure providers in the field of information and communication technologies.

"They introduced our delegation to numerous innovations in the field of digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, with an expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Montenegrin institutions and the startup community," the statement said.

It is stated that Jakšić Stojanović also visited the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia, and special attention was paid to continuing cooperation when it comes to the implementation of Czech language courses in Montenegro.

It is emphasized that the possibility of working together on professional development of teachers in accordance with modern European educational standards has been recognized as one of the important areas of future cooperation.

"This is done through the organization of workshops, seminars, trainings and conferences within the framework of mobility programs and various scientific and research projects, and attention is also paid to inclusive education and the use of modern digital tools in the implementation of the teaching process," the statement added.

Jakšić Stojanović also visited Brno, where she met with representatives of CEITEC (Central European Institute of Technology), an interdisciplinary research center known for its cutting-edge achievements in the fields of nanotechnology, bioengineering and new generation materials, where they discussed institutional cooperation and mutual support within the framework of EU programs.

"Each of these visits resulted in concrete agreements on establishing cooperation in the coming period, thus opening a new chapter in the international affirmation of the educational and scientific research system of Montenegro," the statement says.
