Through action on GoFundMe platform, which was launched two days ago and is still ongoing, has raised more than $140.000 (more than 120.000 euros) in aid for the family of the fallen soldier Dejan Božović.
A junior sergeant of the Army of Montenegro died on August 12th, after a tanker truck overturned in Kuči near Podgorica, during a firefighting operation.
Four and a half thousand donations were sent.
The original goal was to reach $20.000, while the current plan is to raise $170.000 (more than €145.000) in aid.
"This campaign is our response and a call for help. Every donation, regardless of size, is a drop that puts out the fire. We are in this together until the end. All funds raised will be paid to the family of the fallen hero Dejan Božović," reads the post on the international crowdfunding platform.
