The residents of Lubnica and a delegation from the Association of National Liberation War Veterans (UBNOR) and anti-fascists from Kolašin laid flowers at the memorial in the village. The memorial was erected in memory of the Partisans who suffered on the night of January 23-24, 1942.
At that time, according to historical sources, significantly more numerous Chetniks commanded by Pavle Đurišić surrounded the Kolašin and Berane partisans. 42 partisans were captured and shot, of whom 33 were from Kolašin and nine from Berane. Their names are part of the memorial complex in Lubnice.
Ten years ago, the Kolašin UBNOR, together with the people of Lubnica, reconstructed, or rather supplemented, the memorial complex in that village. Then, the "Partisan March - Bjelasica 2017" was organized, which had over 120 participants who walked from Jezerin to Lubnica to pay homage to the shadows and names of the heroes.
