The Governing Board of the University of Montenegro (UCG) held a session today at the Institute of Marine Biology in Kotor, at which a new University Statute was adopted, aligned with the provisions of the Law on Higher Education, while Prof. Dr. Svetlana Perović was appointed Vice-Rector of the University, the UCG announced.

As part of the working visit, members of the Board of Directors visited the Faculty of Maritime Affairs of the University of Montenegro, where they were firsthand acquainted with the working conditions, available infrastructure capacities, as well as opportunities for further improving the quality of studies and practical teaching, the University of Montenegro said. They also visited the premises of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro, where the Applied Physiotherapy study program is implemented, with the aim of examining opportunities for improving teaching conditions, practical training and raising student standards.

The working visit to organizational units was carried out as part of the University's continuous activities aimed at directly assessing the needs of faculty units and creating better conditions for improving work, teaching and student standards, said the University of Montenegro.
