Kolašin: 200.000 euros for the section of the road connecting Milivoje Bulatovića I and Boško Rašovića I streets

The Municipality of Kolašin will allocate almost 200.000 euros, including VAT, for the construction of a section of the road connecting Milivoje Bulatovića I and Boško Rašovića I streets.

The public procurement for these works has been announced, and the new road, approximately 140 meters long, will be built in accordance with the planning documentation of the DUP "Centar" and will, as explained, represent a connection between the existing and future residential zones. The intention is to provide better access to the surrounding plots, relieve local traffic and better connect this part of the city with the existing street network.

According to the main project, the future street passes through a part of the settlement that is currently only partially urbanized. Facilities have already been built on some plots, while construction is underway on others. The route currently ends with a macadam road, and almost all municipal infrastructure is missing. There is no water supply or sewage network at the location, while some telecommunications installations and part of the electricity infrastructure have been recorded, which is why additional tests and coordination with the relevant services will be carried out before the start of work.

The project envisages the construction of a modern city road with two lanes with a total width of 5,5 meters, sidewalks on both sides for safe pedestrian movement, as well as parking spaces that will provide a total of 53 parking spaces, including four spaces intended for people with disabilities.

In addition to the construction of the roadway, the project also includes the complete supporting infrastructure. A new water supply and sewage network, a stormwater drainage system, public lighting, telecommunications sewerage, as well as new horizontal and vertical traffic signals will be built.
