In Montenegro, increased traffic intensity is expected today at certain border crossings and towards tourist centers, said the Automobile and Motorcycle Association (AMSCG).
The AMSCG advised drivers to adapt their driving to the road conditions and to comply with traffic signals at work sites.
On the M-6 main road, section Pljevlja-Žabljak, locality Đurđevića Tara, traffic is suspended for all vehicles and pedestrians due to the reconstruction of the Đurđevića Tara bridge. Alternative routes may be used during the traffic interruption.
Due to the reconstruction of the regional road R-29 Bar - Kamenički most - Krute, traffic will be suspended from 8 am to 11 am and from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Traffic on the regional road R-17, on the Čevo - Riđani section, is suspended from 8 am to 2 pm due to renovations.
On the regional road R-30, at the entrance to Petnjica, vehicles are operating alternately from 8 am to 5 pm due to the construction of a retaining wall.
Traffic on the regional road R-30, section Petnjica - Bioča, section Bioča-Lješnica, will be suspended from 8 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Due to the reconstruction of the regional road R-3 Pljevlja - Dajevića Han, traffic will be alternated, with occasional traffic interruptions not exceeding 30 minutes.
Due to the reconstruction of the Petnjica - Bioča road, the traffic regime has been changed from two-way to alternating, and a temporary traffic suspension of no longer than 60 minutes has been approved. Traffic will not be suspended on weekdays from 7 am to 9 am and from 12 pm to 2 pm.
On the M-4 main road, Podgorica - Božaj section, due to the adaptation of a part of the road in the center of Tuzi, vehicles are driving alternately from the Voli market to the Catholic church.
The AMSCG said that due to the construction of Vojislavljevića Boulevard in Podgorica, traffic was completely stopped at the intersection of Đura Jakšića and Princeze Ksenijje streets. Due to the works, the traffic regime was changed from two-way to alternating from Kralja Nikole Street to Ksenije Cicvaric Street.
The AMSCG said that from 19 p.m. to midnight, the traffic of freight vehicles with a maximum permissible mass exceeding 7,5 tons is prohibited on parts of the main roads:
M-1 GP Debeli Brijeg-Herceg Novi-Kotor-Tivat-(Krtolska intersection)-Budva-Bar-Ulcinj-GP Sukobin
M-2 Podgorica-Sotonići-Petrovac
M-3 Podgorica-Mioska-Kolašin
M-10 Podgorica-Cetinje-Budva
The traffic of freight vehicles with a maximum permissible mass exceeding 7,5 tons is prohibited, from seven o'clock in the morning to midnight, on the section of the regional road R-1 Kotor - Trojica (intersection with M-1), Kotor municipality, to the town of Krstac (intersection with R25), Cetinje municipality.
The AMSCG said that traffic for light and heavy buses and campers is prohibited for 24 hours on sections of the regional roads Krstac-Trojica from the direction of Njeguša in the direction of Kotor, and on the Međuvršje - Lovćen road from both directions.
