The new Board of Directors was elected by the majority of votes.
The new Board of Directors consists of Jovica Milanović, Vladimir Katic, Zoran Miljanić, Milutin Đukanović, Tahir Đonbaljaj, Neven Gošović and Simo Jokić.
Đukanović was elected president of the Board of Directors.
Minority shareholders of EPCG did not vote for new members of the Board, as they submitted canceled ballots.
Previously, the EPCG Shareholders' Assembly dismissed the current Board of Directors.
That Board of Directors consisted of Milutin Đukanović (New Serbian Democracy), Ivan Saranović (GP URA), Tahir Đonbaljaj (Albanian Alternative), Goran Šućur (GP URA), Martin Ćalasan (GP URA), Mijuško Bajagić (Socialist People's Party) and Emir Strujić (Bosniak Party).
The shareholders' assembly, which was scheduled for today at 12 noon, began around 23 p.m. - minority shareholders and journalists were in the hall at 11 a.m. waiting for the assembly to begin.
Shareholder Golub Bojanić asked if all the candidates meet the conditions and to explain the current situation to them. He asked why one of the minority shareholders was not proposed to the Board to be a controlling member for both independent and political candidates. He pointed out that what happened today was a shame for the country.
He asked them to explain to him that "members of the Board are asked by the councilors, that is, the legislative power, not the executive". He crossed out the ballot paper with the names of candidates for Board members and said that it was his vote.
Shareholder Nataša Backović said that shareholders consider it incorrect that biographies of new members of the board of directors are read at the Assembly session.
"It is not true that we received the names of the members of the board and their biographies. Everything I say refers to the members of the Government," she said.
She also asked why one of the candidates for the Board member was not a representative of minority shareholders, as well as why university professor Luka Vučinić was not among the candidates, who, as she pointed out, is an expert recognized in the world, a university professor, awarded.
She said that the state is not the property of political parties and expressed displeasure with the proposal of independent candidates who, according to her, are not independent because they are all "in a relationship with Minister Saša Mujović".
Bojanić suggested that EPCG should be partially privatized as a matter of urgency, that they emulate CGES and "seize it from the political spoils".
"The government has humiliated itself with today's behavior," said Bojanic.
He also asked how Đonbaljaj can be a member of the EPCG Board because, as he said, he was legally convicted for "accepting bribes", he is on trial with EPCG over the electricity bill, and EPCG is opening one of its branches in his illegal building.
"We ask that the Government check all these suspicions and inform us about it," said Bojanic.
The minority shareholders asked to see the CVs of the proposed members and asked if Simo Jokić met the requirements. As the acting secretary of the Assembly of Shareholders of EPCG Predrag Krivokapić said, Jokić has completed the VII/1 degree and meets the requirements.
Due to the appointment to the EPCG Board of Directors in the Europe Now Movement, a conflict broke out today.
Jokić is the third proposal of PES after the MPs of that party from Nikšić, Vladimir Bakrač and Uglješa Urošević, rebelled today against yesterday's proposal of the Government to have electrical engineer Bojana Savić on behalf of PES in the Board of Directors.
The original solution of PES was Radovan Bijelić..
