The promotion of the book "Philosophy of Danko Grlić", authored by Slađana Kavarić Mandić, will be held tomorrow in Podgorica.
Art historian and theoretician Branislav Dimitrijević, writer and columnist Brano Mandić and Kavarić Mandić, who is both a doctor of philosophy and a Marxist, will talk about the book.
The book, which is the doctoral dissertation of Kavarić Mandić, was published in the co-publishing Zagreb - Belgrade - Nikšić (Beletra - Most art Jugoslavija - Fondacija Ćano Koprivica).
Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, Lino Veljak, in his review of the book, said that it is an analysis and synthesis of the works of one of the most important Croatian and Yugoslav philosophers of the XNUMXth century.
Veljak pointed out that in the age of universal hyperproduction, when the market imposes needs more than ever and degrades man to self-interested activity, it is important to retrieve from oblivion philosophical positions that point "not only to the possibility of resistance, but also to the perspective of the emergence of a different man."
"In an interestingly structured monograph, the author expressed her need for an anti-dogmatic organization of today's societies, pointed out problems that are not too different from Grlić's time, and took a similar anti-dogmatic and libertarian position," the review says.
The promotion will be held at 20:201 in the Cultural Center 201 /XNUMX Engaging space/.
