The play "Exposed", directed by Sandra Vujović in the co-production of the Independent Scene "Rebellion" and the Tivat Culture Center, will be performed on the stage of the Bjelopole Cultural Center on Tuesday starting at 19:00 p.m., as part of the "Violence Exposed" project Exposed).
As the News was told from the Center for Culture in Bijelo Polje, the play features: Anđelija Rondović, Jelena Laban, Anđela Radović and academic painter Marija Radusinović.
After the play, there will be a discussion on the topic "Violence Exposed", where the director, actresses and prominent civil activist Sabina Talović will talk to the audience about the genesis of violence against women.
"The play "Exposed" deals with the very sensitive topic of gender equality, and through reflection on patriarchal matrices and beliefs, it draws attention to all forms and forms of discrimination and violence against women, to which they are exposed on a daily basis," the Culture Center states.
This play examines the influence of tradition on the creation of negative patterns of behavior, which are adopted by generations, one after the other, and it is they who make up the largest part of the discriminatory attitude towards women. It is an engaged performance, a philosophical, epic theater that indicates that this is not only a problem of our society, but a problem of global proportions.
