American actress Meg Rajan was awarded the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo at the Sarajevo Film Festival on Tuesday for her outstanding contribution to film art.
On the first day of her visit to Sarajevo, August 20, Rajan held a masterclass moderated by award-winning BiH director Danis Tanović, winner of the Oscar for the film "No Man's Land".
The Masterclass was a special opportunity to get an insight into the key aspects of Rajan's career and her new film "What Happens Later", which will also be shown at the Festival.

Bleecker Street Media's "What Happens Later," a romantic comedy that Rajan directed, wrote and co-starred with David Duchovny, is her second directorial effort, following 2015's independent film "Itaca."
The honorary Heart of Sarajevo will be awarded to her tonight.
As announced by the Sarajevo Film Festival, "a Hollywood star known for his versatility and natural charm in every role he plays, Rajan will also present a special screening of his 1998 hit romantic comedy You've Got Mail."
The famous actress will greet the audience in the Metalac open-air cinema, in the same place where this film was shown 25 years ago, at the 5th Sarajevo Film Festival, in 1999.
In addition to Rajan, American actor John Turturo and screenwriters and directors Kord Jeferson, Aleksander Pajne and Elia Suleiman also arrived at SFF.
