From December 11 to 13, Podgorica will host the Days of Japan event, which will be held as part of the December art scene. The rich program of this three-day event will give visitors the opportunity to get to know Japanese culture, art, film and tradition, all at different locations in the "Budo Tomović" Cultural and Information Center.
The event begins today, with a ceremonial opening in the Dodest hall, at 18 p.m. On the first day, film lovers will have the opportunity to watch the Japanese film "The First Gentleman", while at 20.30:13 the exhibition "Raku. Small prints of joy" will be opened in the "Risto Stijović" Gallery. The exhibition, prepared by students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and the "Petar Lubarda" High School of Fine Arts from Cetinje, will be available for visitors until December XNUMX.
On the second day of the event, on Thursday, December 12, the program starts at 16 pm in the Dodest hall with an interesting panel called "Anime talk show", where Matija Miljanić and Danilo Burzanović will speak. An hour later, the audience will be able to get to know the art of Japanese swordsmanship - kendo live, while at 18 p.m. the screening of the movie "Love is hard for Otaku" is scheduled.
The final day, Friday, December 13, brings the promotion of the book "Tanka: A Travelogue of Japan" by the author Nikola Kasalica, which is scheduled for 14 p.m. in the Dodest hall. After the promotion, at 15 p.m., the audience will be able to watch the moving film "Inn at Okko", which will round off the event's rich program.
The organizers of this event are the Embassy of Japan in Montenegro, the Secretariat for Culture of the Capital City of Podgorica and KIC "Budo Tomović". Days of Japan represent an extraordinary opportunity for all lovers of culture and art to discover the beauty of Japanese creativity and tradition through various contents.
