The traditional event "Polim Literary Path" will be held today in Berane, in the "Dr Radovan Lalić" National Library at 19 p.m. This year, the 18th edition of the event, organized by the Berane Center for Culture, is dedicated to literary creativity Milovan Miša Korać.

Korać graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. He was a poet, writer, actor, director, long-term director of the Cultural Center of Berane, and for a period also director of the Information Center in Berane. He wrote poetry for children and adults, but also plays and comedies. He published books: "Bulled Balloon", "Balkan Train", "Solitaire in the Basement", "Don't let life pass us by", "Maria needs only diapers", "Battle of Mojkovac", "Sokolčani", "Prahu u sretanje" , "Parter to the left" and "Grandpa's Colorful Lies". He is the winner of numerous awards and recognitions in the field of culture, among which are: the "July 21" award of the municipality of Berane, the "Golden mask for directing", the RTCG award for the screenplay, the "Simo Cucić" award for the best book in the field of drama for children, posthumous "Recognition of Ivangrad" from the NGO "Spona".

The program, through a competition, is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro.
