Concert by the vocal duo “Vox feminae” consisting of a female pianist Ninoslava Zlatkovic and soprano Bojana Pejanović will be held today at the Modern Gallery "Jovo Ivanović" in Budva, as part of this year's cultural event "Ljubišina dani" at 19 pm, and organized by the Public Institution Museums and Galleries of Budva.
The concert consists of covers of old Paštrov and Budva songs stylized and arranged in an artistic manner, the statement states.
The duo "Vox Feminae" has existed for seven years and has had several public and concert performances, of which the full-length performances as part of Zlatković Ninoslava's author projects stand out: "Musica rustica: perpetuum" held in 2019 at the Modern Gallery in the Old Town in Budva, "Who is that girl?" in Petrovac and Budva 2021/2022, "Sub rosa" 2023 from Budva.
"The full-length concert of the duo "Vox feminae" in the review part of the Niš Choir Festival 2022 was particularly notable, and was extremely well received by the audience and critics. In March 2022, the duo 'Vox feminae' released the CD "Who is that girl?" with covers of Budva and Paštrov songs for concert performance, under the auspices of the Municipality of Budva," the statement states.
The duo will also present themselves to the public with covers of old Montenegrin songs at all-night concerts in Bijelo Polje, Pljevlja and Berane during March this year, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro.
"A cover of classical music is also planned, and in addition to the covers, original compositions in the modernist spirit and in various formations are also planned," the announcement states.
Bojana Pejanović is from Bar, and she graduated from the Faculty of Musical Arts in Belgrade, in the solo singing department. She studied with prof. Lilly Ilyeva, She is the winner of numerous domestic and international awards. She has achieved success in both opera and chamber repertoire. She had significant roles in the opera "The Marriage of Figaro" WA Mozart, Glukhov "Orpheus", Puccini's opera “Sister Anđelika” with which she toured in Slovenia and Austria and beyond. As a member of the duet “Vox 2 feel” (voice and guitar), singing works Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, de Falje and other greats, she participated in several guitar and other festivals in Montenegro and abroad. She worked as a solo singing teacher at the Music School in Budva, and since 2019 at the Music School in Bar. As a teacher, she has achieved significant results with her students at national and international competitions. She has several solo concerts as a member of the duo Vox feminae.
Ninoslava Zlatković studied composition and theory at the Academy of Music in Pristina with prof. Miroslav Štatkić. She was declared the student of the generation, and during her education she won numerous awards at competitions, especially in the field of chamber music. She worked for 10 years as a teacher of professional subjects at the “Stevan Mokranjac” Secondary Music School in Pristina. She was the president of the Musical Youth of Pristina and the Musical Youth of Kosovo and Metohija, and before coming to Montenegro she was also the artistic director and one of the founders of the City Chamber Orchestra in Pristina in 1996. For the past 25 years she has lived in Budva, where she works as a teacher at the Music School. She also deals with arrangements of jazz, folk and popular songs, and has also had notable literary works as the winner of several awards for literary work in Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. She actively participates in the musical life of Budva and the coast. She has been a member of the church choir "St. Evstatius of Prevlački" in Budva since 2018, and since 2024 of the female vocal ensemble "Harmonija".
