Painter Zorka Cerović passed away on March 9th in Belgrade, the Nova.rs portal announced.
Zorka Cerović was born in Cetinje in 1947. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. She had about 30 solo and several group exhibitions. She lived in Belgrade.
"All painters have their own style and it's never completely new, but when it seems to me that it deserves to be shown, then it's something new and different," said Zorka Cerović, as Nova.rs reminds us.
Zorka Cerović is considered a contemporary artist, but many art critics believe that she has built an authentic artistic direction with her way of creating, the media outlet writes.
