Exhibition of paintings by a Montenegrin artist Vladimir Jovićević will be opened on March 17th at 19 pm in the gallery of the Cultural Center of the Royal Capital in Cetinje (Dvorski trg). The exhibition, organized by Matica Crnogorska with the Cultural Center of the Royal Capital, will be opened by historian Ljiljana Zeković. This academic painter finds inspiration in Montenegrin tradition and cultural heritage, and his skills are particularly evident in portrait painting. According to Ljiljana Zeković, with Jovićević everything is "in harmony: serenity, beauty, certainty and the right measure, lyrical meditation of melancholic closure and the poetics of lyrical serenity, expressed in the visual language of a creator who, with respectable skill, harmonizes classical and modern into a unique and arbitrary style of realistic expression". Jovićević was born in Podgorica in 1987. He received his professional education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Terni and at the Academy of Arts in Florence, where he worked for several years after graduating. He returned to Montenegro in 2019. He currently lives and works in Tivat. This is his fifth solo exhibition and will be open until March 31, 2025.
